Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Myke Rylance, presently at the helm of VMware by Broadcom as the head of the EMEA Solution Architecture team for the Google Cloud VMware Engine service provided by Google. My journey has seen me lead Solution Architecture teams for significant cloud initiatives, including VMware Cloud on AWS, Azure VMware Solution, VMware on Dell, and VMware on IBM.

The essence of this blog is to provide a plethora of valuable content encompassing all things Cloud, with a special focus on the strategic and technical facets of Cloud solutions. A substantial part of my career has been devoted to serving as a solution provider in large Managed Service Providers, addressing the needs of enterprises.

In 2018, I joined VMware as the Leader of Solution Architecture, serving within the Global Cloud Practice before embarking on the journey to lead the Google Cloud VMware Engine team back in 2021.

I boast a strong technical background, underpinned by a robust foundation of over 20 certifications earned throughout my career, spanning various vendors like VMware, Google, AWS, Microsoft, and many more. Complementing my technical expertise, I've developed profound Enterprise Architecture skills rooted in TOGAF. I've also mastered the intricacies of project management with certifications in Prince2 and Agile frameworks. These skills have empowered me over the years to craft compelling business cases, devise intricate financial models, and set clear strategic technology directions whilst delivering on them.

I pride myself on being a polished presenter, capable of elucidating intricate solutions, whether to CxO-level executives or entry-level engineers. You'll find me frequently sharing insights at events, ranging from grand stages like VMware Explore, Google Next, AWS re:Invent to more intimate forums such as VMUGs and local gatherings.
